What a fantastic day of wine drinking, eating, and touring the wineries with Florencia. She was very knowledgable and fun to be with. The selection of places to visit was very well thought out and gave a great perspective on the classic traditional wine making of Mendoza. An extra plus, was our fantastic driver ! One of my favorite tours of our entire time in Argentina.

An authentic wine tour to discover Maipu and Lujan de Cuyo wine regions, with 4 hand-crafted wineries. The wine tour ends by a wine paired gourmet menu at Clos de Chacras.

  • The first winery is Pulmary in Lujan de Cuyo, one of the really first certified organic bodega in the pittoresque village of  Chacras de Coria. We are welcome by the owner Diana and her son Ramiro the winemaker.
    Tasting 5 wines : Malbec (tank) – Cabernet Sauvignon (barrel) – Malbec Reserva (barrel) -Rosé sparlking Malbec – Blend Cabernet Sauvignon/Malbec
  • The tour goes on with the visit of Carmelo Patti winery in Lujan de Cuyo. The most famous garage winemaker of Mendoza ! Carmelo welcome us in his authentic winery, where he makes great malbec and cabernet sauvignon, and the amazing ‘Gran Assemblage’. No snobbery, just good old wines guided by a real figure.
    Tasting 3 wines :Malbec Reserva – Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva – Gran Assemblage.
  • Let us now cross to Maipu wine region where we visit is the Carinae boutique winery, handled by the French couple Brigitte & Philippe. They welcome us in their lovely vineyard, with Syrah Pergola and olive trees. Amazing Prestige wine and Passito Sicilian style.
    Tasting 8 wines: Malbec Rosé – Torrontes – Cabernet Sauvignon – Malbec Reserva +Gran reserva – Syrah Reserva + Gran Reserva – Prestige – Passito
