What a fantastic day of wine drinking, eating, and touring the wineries with Florencia. She was very knowledgable and fun to be with. The selection of places to visit was very well thought out and gave a great perspective on the classic traditional wine making of Mendoza. An extra plus, was our fantastic driver ! One of my favorite tours of our entire time in Argentina.

A must-do in Mendoza! 4 wineries, and 2 regions: an authentic wine tour to discover Maipu and Lujan de Cuyo wine regions, with 4 hand-crafted wineries. The wine tour ends by a gourmet picnic at Altavista Winery.

  • The first must-do winery Carinae boutique winery in the Maipu wine region. After visiting the lovely vineyard, with Syrah Pergola and olive trees, we will enjoy a 3 premium wine tasting.
  • The tour goes on with the visit of Carmelo Patti winery in Lujan de Cuyo. The very must-do garage winemaker of Mendoza! Carmelo welcomes us to his authentic winery, where he makes great malbec and cabernet sauvignon, and the amazing ‘Gran Assemblage’. No snobbery, just good old wines guided by a real figure.
  • Our third stop is at Pulmary in Lujan de Cuyo, one of the really first certified organic bodega in the picturesque and must-do village of  Chacras de Coria. We are welcome by the owner Diana and her son Ramiro the winemaker, who also elaborates famous organic and handcraft beers.
  • After all these wine tastings sure you will be hungry! Let’s have a gourmet lunch at the famous Clos de Chacras Winery, enjoying the nature and beauty of their square, surrounded by centenary trees. The winery is in the heart of Chacras de Coria, a historical building, with all the cutting-edge winemaking technology. you will be delighted with a 4 courses wine-paired menu elaborated with fresh seasonal products.

As we said… the must-do wine tour in Mendoza !

What about make your holidays the best ever adding to this wine tour another mustdo with the fabulous and unique Gaucho Day horseback riding ?
