The Aconcagua tour, the major Andes excursion, allow you to discover in all privacy every stunning landscapes. You will firstly stop at the Potrerillos lake, then Uspallata and Puente del Inca.

Then a nice moment at the Aconcagua park to enjoy the pure air of the Andes. If weather permitting you will hike in the Aconcagua Park for between 1 and 2 hours.
During the day you will stop for a coffee break and a nice lunch at Uspallata for a traditional BBQ/Asado (vegetarian options).

ANDES EXCURSION

DEPARTURE

Pick-up will begin at 8 A.M. from Mendoza center or 8:30 A.M. from Chacras de Coria and Vistalba hotels.

FIRST ROUTE

We start by taking route 82 and pass the famous Cacheuta tunnel. The view coming out is magical, Lake Potrerillos surrounded by the mountains of Mendoza.
It’s an opportunity to breathe the pure air of the Andes and stretch your legs.
(Depending on the starting point, this trip and stop can be made on the return to Mendoza in the late afternoon)

Coffee break at Uspallata

A well-deserved coffee break!
It arrives after about 2 hours of driving in the picturesque pre-Andes, along the old railway.

Aconcagua tour... but what about Aconcagua then?

Here we are!
After almost 200km since we left Mendoza, the sentinel stands proudly in front of us.
If weather permits, we will walk the Horcones circuit lasting approximately 1h30. The altitude is around 9900ft/3000m, we are close to the border with Chile.

Puente del Inca

On the way back, your private guide will take the time to accompany you to the legendary Puente del Inca.
You will discover the original stories and the scientific and geological explanations which help to understand this mysterious place.

Did someone say Asado?

After this great excursion in the Andes, you will be delighted to return to Uspallata to enjoy an authentic asado/BBQ.
It will finally be time to return to Mendoza after a beautiful and captivating day.
